Ron Brasel

President

Ron was born and raised in Omaha Nebraska. After graduating from North High School he attended the University of Nebraska, Omaha for two years. After a time in the US Army National Guard, Ron returned to Omaha and applied for the apprenticeship program with the Steamfitters local union. Ron was accepted and joined the apprenticeship program in 1972. In October of 1974 Ron joined Control Services as an apprentice steamfitter and completed his apprenticeship program in 1977.

At Control Services Ron worked in the field doing installation of pneumatic control systems until he moved into the office as Field Supervisor where he managed the installation and service divisions. From the Field Supervisor position Ron’s next move was to President in 1987. Ron is a member of and past President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Omaha, Chairman of the Mechanical Contractors PAC committee and serves on the National Education Committee for the Mechanical Contractors Association of America as well as the Joint Apprenticeship Committee for Local Union #464 Steamfitters and Plumbers. Ron enjoys golf, traveling and being with his family when he is not working.




Jason Brasel

Operations Manager

Jason was born and raised in Omaha, NE. After graduating from Millard North High School he received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Management from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Immediately out of college Jason accepted a position in the retail industry as a Regional Fraud investigator with SAKS Fifth Avenue. After working in the retail industry for 5 years, Jason moved back to Omaha and joined Control Services in 2004.

At Control Services Jason worked in the company’s security division, Sentrixx. Jason’s primary focus was on selling access control and CCTV system to local and regional commercial business as well as selling Infant Protection systems to hospitals in Kansas. After working in the security division for 10 years, Jason was promoted into the Manager of Operations role for Control Services.

Jason is active in the Mechanical Contractors Association of Omaha and sits as Vice President of Baseball for the Millard Athletic Association.

Jason has a wife and two sons and they enjoy watching their older son play hockey in the fall/winter and their youngest son play baseball in the spring and summer.




Chuck Kopocis

Sales Manager / Vice President

Chuck Kopocis has been involved with all facets of the control industry as it pertains to system design and implementation since 1983. Prior to entering the control industry, Chuck spent four years with Mechanical Engineering firms involved with HVAC system design.

With a strong background in energy conservation, Chuck is a LEED® Accredited Professional and has gained considerable experience in unique control applications such as zoological displays and regulated Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facilities.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Chuck continues to evolve his knowledge of the industry through involvement in numerous industry related training courses and seminars.




Tim Moheng

Service Manager

Tim has been with Control Services since 2005. With an education in Software Engineering Tim brings a unique Technology based approach to Building Automation Systems. Prior to working at Control Services, and while attending high school, Tim engineered, installed, and programmed HVAC control systems for a local public school district.

While at Control Services Tim has held several positions. As a System Application Technician for the construction group Tim engineered and programmed several automation systems for some of our largest clients. Next as a Systems Integration Specialist Tim provided our clients system-level support of information systems as they pertain to their building automation systems. Now as the Service Manager Tim is responsible for the overall operations of the service division. Which includes the responsibility for: work coordination, technician dispatching, issue resolution, training, and personnel management of all positions within the service department.

Tim has a wife and two children and they enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, fishing and camping.
