Ron Brasel

President

Ron was born and raised in Omaha Nebraska. After graduating from North High School he attended the University of Nebraska, Omaha for two years. After a time in the US Army National Guard, Ron returned to Omaha and applied for the apprenticeship program with the Steamfitters local union. Ron was accepted and joined the apprenticeship program in 1972. In October of 1974 Ron joined Control Services as an apprentice steamfitter and completed his apprenticeship program in 1977.



At Control Services Ron worked in the field doing installation of pneumatic control systems until he moved into the office as Field Supervisor where he managed the installation and service divisions. From the Field Supervisor position Ron’s next move was to President in 1987. Ron is a member of and past President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Omaha, Chairman of the Mechanical Contractors PAC committee and serves on the National Education Committee for the Mechanical Contractors Association of America as well as the Joint Apprenticeship Committee for Local Union #464 Steamfitters and Plumbers. Ron enjoys golf, traveling and being with his family when he is not working.


Jason Brasel

Executive Vice President

Jason was born and raised in Omaha, NE. After graduating from Millard North High School, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Management from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Immediately out of college Jason accepted a position in the retail industry as a Regional Fraud investigator with SAKS Fifth Avenue. After working in the retail industry for 5 years, Jason moved back to Omaha and joined Control Services in 2004.


At Control Services Jason worked in the company’s security division, Sentrixx. Jason’s primary focus was on selling access control and CCTV system to local and regional commercial business as well as selling Infant Protection systems to hospitals in Kansas. After working in the security division for 10 years, Jason was promoted into the Manager of Operations role for Control Services.


Jason is active in the Mechanical Contractors Association of Omaha and Mechanical Service Contractors Association, as well as InsideIQ, a Building Automation Alliance



Jason has a wife and two sons in college, and two small dogs. Jason and his wife enjoy playing golf and traveling.


Denise Kuehn

Vice President – Business Development

Denise Kuehn is the Control Services’ Vice President - Business Development. She leads an exceptional team focusing on customer service, business development strategies and sales. 


As a Nebraska native, Denise joined the team in May 2020. She works closely with an outstanding operational and management group to provide an exceptional customer experience focusing on communication and continuous process improvement.


Denise has been working in the controls and utility industry for over 25 years as a designer, project manager, sales and in various management roles. She worked at Applied Power and Johnson Controls in their engineering and sales departments. At the Omaha Public Power District, she worked in the generation, transmission & distribution and operation’s analysis areas. As a manager, she established OPPD’s first Sustainability department focusing on demand side management and assisting with renewable efforts including legislation, establishing the OPPD Green Team and forming synergy with other utilities enhancing national standards and programs. As a Director at Austin Energy, she led one of the most robust public power sustainability programs in the nation, automating and enriching over 25 programs using six-sigma techniques.



Denise received her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in controls from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Her master’s in Business Administration is from Bellevue University.


Mark Didde

Operations Manager

Mark was born and raised in Ottawa, KS After graduating from Ottawa High School he received his bachelor’s degree in construction science and management from Kansas State University. Immediately out of college Mark accepted a position in the construction industry working for two general contractors mostly working as a commissioning engineer, helping with project close out and commissioning projects.


At Control Services Mark works in the company’s construction division as Construction Manager. Mark’s primary focus is on building and developing the construction department to ensure there is adequate staffing, coordination and project cost control to complete current and future construction projects to the high standards Control Services Inc expects. 



Mark has a wife and one son with another one on the way. Mark enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family. 


Ty Roberts

Director of Technology & Programming

Ty joined Control Services, Inc. in 2015 as a field service control technician and quickly worked his way up to Director of Technology & Programming. 


Before joining the team, Ty worked at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo as the resident IMAX projectionist and certified technician. Ty’s passion for automation and controls led him to join the zoo’s Life Support team, where he specialized in the technical maintenance of all aquatic and building mechanical systems.

Ty considers himself a lifelong learner and is known to immerse himself in the latest technology trends. He ensures we deliver the highest in programming standards as well as lead our cyber security and emerging threats awareness. His curious nature led him to earn more than 90 knowledge and training certificates with Schneider Electric and he continues to work closely with them on alpha/beta testing and future training opportunities.


Ty grew up in Salt Lake City, UT, and moved to Omaha, NE, in 2003 with his wife, Stephanie. Together they have a daughter, Allison, and two dogs. When he is not tinkering around the house, Ty enjoys retreating up to the mountains and his family’s annual Disney vacations
