Commercial HVAC Technician

- Ability to pull wire, install EMT, Rigid or PVC conduit, install panels and necessary connections.
- Install control systems utilizing job mechanical/electrical plans and control drawings.
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of electrical construction materials and control equipment required to install an HVAC automation controls system.
- understanding HVAC and DDC control system schematics, control wiring, control components, and HVAC systems.
- Work with other trades to coordinate the installation of the HVAC automation controls system.
- Install systems based on verbal direction from supervisors.
- Responsible for startup commissioning and troubleshooting of the control system with supervision.
- Train and supervise apprentices, delegating when necessary.
- Work safely in a construction jobsite environment following the company’s safety policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Available for local travel.
Qualifications:
- The minimum of a high school diploma or a two-year technical degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics, Or Construction.
- Other technical experience such as military, or other construction experience
- The ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- State of Nebraska Journeyman's license.
- Must have driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Organized, punctual, and reliable.

Journeyman Service Fitter

- Responsible for problem diagnosis, repair, calibration, checkout and troubleshooting HVAC&R equipment.
- Cut, assemble, weld, install, and lay out pipe. Install valves and instruments.

- Universal EPA license, Prometric License/ACAD Required.

Security Department Project Coordinator
Responsible for coordination of a project team and overall project success by ensuring high-quality security system installations within budget and schedule. Coordinates efforts of other team members. Performs personnel skills to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects which include job deviation, orders, application design, technical work, and scheduling. Ensures all work is performed in accordance with local codes and standards. Other duties may be assigned.
More specifically:
• Reports to the Director of Operations
• Ensure the department operates efficiently and at peak capacity including budgeting projects and service contracts and tickets for proper time, schedule and staff.
• Meet weekly with Security Field Supervisor to plan for future work.
• Communicate with Security field supervisor daily. Including project site visits
• Assist with submittals and asbuilts on jobs.
• Make sure technicians have all equipment and software necessary to perform job duties.
• Perform emergency service calls if necessary
• Participate in weekly project meetings with the Director of Operations to determine project priorities to achieve install deadlines.
• Assist with follow-up on any parts ordered on all jobs along with processing all change orders and making sure the equipment is here on time for the installations.
• Develop Schedules of Values, Project Schedules and Billings schedules for all active projects. Maintain project files and documentation.
• Track project labor hours versus estimated hours.
• Monitor project financial performance and identify potential overruns.
• Review job cost reports weekly.
• Identify and communicate scope creep and change order opportunities.
• Working with the service coordinator to track and schedule all Security Service contract work.
• Explore all pricing options when ordering equipment to ensure we obtain the best pricing on the equipment.
• Maintain standard equipment and wire pricing on the server.
• Assist the sales department with completing estimates and quotes (pre-bid reviews)
• Walk projects with sales reps to assist in developing project estimates (As time allows)
• Enter customer call notes and customer information into CRM system
• Participate in ongoing technical safety and leadership training
• Participating in project kickoff and turnover meetings (Sales and Security Field Supervisor)
Education: Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree in a science or engineering discipline is preferred; or experience with project management. Emphasis in electronic security is preferred but not necessary.
